Everyone knows Facebook, but not everyone knows Facebook very well. You could spend your days on the world’s biggest social network liking and sharing, or you could learn a few tricks that will bring you closer to being a power user.

These some Facebook tricks will help you take charge of your Facebook activity:

Test engagement for different times of the day

Facebook now offers a scheduling tool so you can deliver late-night posts without disturbing your sleep. If you don't reply back or address the issue because it was a scheduled post and you aren't actually there, you look bad.

Ask your fans for their input and actually act on their feedback. Whether you ask them to vote on a new logo or product color, use their input to reasonably guide the direction of your next business decision.

Take a nice picture - Fans' news feeds are constantly cluttered with friends and business pages, so including a photo or graphic with your content helps your post stand out. Download Instagram to your smartphone to instantly snap and upload shots to your Facebook page.

Keep your Facebook content upbeat and fun, while saving more targeted marketing and upselling for your email campaigns. The results will speak for themselves.

A call to action. Because you don't want your Facebook fans to visit once and then leave, place a "call to action" graphic on your page's tab.

Create content that's exclusive to fans only, which will encourage visitors to like your page. This could be special product information, interviews, menus--whatever fits in with your particular business.

Download Facebook Photo Albums - FacePAD: Facebook Photo Album Downloader allows you to download your friends’ facebook albums, Events albums, and Group Albums, en masse, with the click of a button.

Create a good URL for your Facebook business page. This makes you more discoverable so that your fans can just go to www.facebook.com/yourpagebusiness. Just go to www.facebook.com/ to update your business page name.

Share Flickr Photos to Facebook - Flickr2Facebook is an unofficial Flickr to Facebook uploader which allows you upload photos to Facebook from Flickr.

Schedule Facebook Messages - Sendible lets you schedule Facebook messages ahead of time so you can send messages to your friends, customers or colleagues in the future.

Create a Photo Collage Using Pictures of Your Facebook Friends - Click on Friends tab. Proceed to More tab. From "Choose an option" dropdown, choose any of the dashes "" . Your Facebook friends collage is right on your computer screen.

Display Facebook Statuses on WordPress Blog - If you want to show your Facebook Statuses and you are hosting on a WordPress.com blog that restricts you from installing plugins, try this trick:

- Under Profile, look for Mini Feed column, click on See All.

- Under Mini Feed, click on ‘Status Stories‘ on the right column. Scroll all the way to the bottom, look for ‘My Status

- Copy the link of My Status, and we are about to use this in WordPress blog.

- Under WordPress admin, Navigate to Design -> Widget. Look for RSS Widget, add it to your side bar.

- Paste the copied URL inside, give it a name, save and your Facebook statuses (or status depends on how many you display) will now appear on your WordPress blog.

Schedule Facebook posts

Want to make sure your posts go live even when you’re offline? Use Facebook’s scheduling tool and set a publishing time for your posts. Click on the clock icon in the status line field and take it from there.

Who can see you on Facebook chat

We all have some people on our files that we don’t always feel like talking to. All you have to do is the click the ‘Settings’ icon at the bottom of the chat section, go to “Advanced Settings” and make your choice.
